Edgar Salus – Founder

Edgar is a IBDP student at Berlin International School. His primary interests include physics, engineering, finance and entrepreneurship. This led him to complete internships with R3 Solutions, a deep-tech start-up, and Stadler Rails Germany both based in Berlin, Germany. In 2022 Edgar competed in the junior engineering olympiad, winning 5th place at German national level. He is also a founding member of his school’s physics club and the editor in chief for the school newspaper. Edgar has been playing field hockey for as long as he can remember and also works as an assistant coach for younger players at his club. Reflecting his passion about entrepreneurship, he is co-president of the Berlin Junior Economic Club (JEC Berlin). Through The Quantum, he intends to encourage other students' passion for physics and the universe and give them the opportunity to dive into the fascinating world of physics.
